Cluster Rack Mount For NVIDIA Jetson Embedded
NVIDIA Jetson is a platform for automated machines and other embedded applications, and is a review of Cluster Rack Mount.
NVIDIA Jetson includes a small form factor, the Jetson module, a high-performance computer, an NVIDIA JetPack™ SDK for software acceleration, sensors to speed up development, and an ecosystem with SDKs, services and products.
It is a developer kit and module mainly used for edge computing.
Among the NVIDIA Jetson family, Jetson AGX Xavier, Jetson Xavier NX, Jetson Nano, and Jetson TX2 were used to configure the cluster’s computers.
It was requested to be produced by D University and was produced in two ways: sheet metal and cutting processing due to production circumstances.
From the next explanation, I will describe it as a model name.
NVIDIA Jetson Rack Mount 4
Rack Mount 4 was made of sheet metal using steel sheets and finished with paint (ivory).
It is a rack mount with 10 Jetson AGX Xavier, 5 Jetson TX2, 10 Jetson Nano, and 1 Cisco switch router SF220-48-K9-EU.
In fact, up to six Jetson TX2 can be installed.
It consists of two parts: a frame and a slide panel, and has a size of 650(W) x 260(L) x 472(H)(mm) and a weight of 26kg.
The board and switch router are secured to the slide panel for easy follow-up management.
There are switch routers on the bottom floor, Jason AGX Xavier on the second and third floors, Jason TX2 on the fourth and fifth floors, and Jason Nano on the sixth and seventh floors.
The slide panel is screwed to the front of the frame.
Rack Mount 1, 2, 3
It is a rack mount made by cutting aluminum alloys and has three types.
It consists of a frame, a slide panel, and a terminal withdrawal panel, which is different from rack mount 4, but the assembly method is the same as rack mount 4 and is finished with a white anodizing process.
Rack Mount 1
Rack Mount 1 installed 16 Jetson Xavier NXs and 1 Cisco switch router SG220-50-K9.
In reality, up to 20 Jetson Xavier NX can be installed.
A switch router is located on the bottom floor, and boards are located on it.
Size is 648(W) x 266(L) x 275(H)(mm) and weight is 23kg.
Rack Mount 2
Rack Mount 2 has 18 Jetson Xavier NXs installed, but you can actually install up to 20 Jetson Xavier NXs like Rack Mount 1.
Switch routers are not installed.
Instead, the one installed on rack mount 1 is supposed to be used together.
Size is 648(W) x 266(L) x 219(H))(mm) and weight is 19kg.
Rack Mount 3
Rack Mount 3 is a rack mount with 20 Jetson AGX Xavier and 1 Cisco switch router SG95-24.
The board and switch router placement are the same as Rack Mount 1.
Size is 648(W) x 266(L) x 395(H)(mm) and weight is 28kg.
Closing remarks．．．
The model that was the basis for this production is Joontech’s Standard Cluster Rack Mount.
However, due to the production conditions, the two production methods were mixed, but there is no difference in satisfaction because the finish is very good.
