JDUO 4CR is a cluster rack type case that can support up to 4 Raspberry pi 4 Model B and Raspberry Pi 3 Model B/B+.
It is made and sold by Joontech, which is in charge of case manufacturing and precision processing.
The JDUO 4CR is solid and beautiful by laser cutting the steel sheet, bending it, and treating it with paint.
The JDUO 4CR has plenty of space, making it easy to connect external devices to the port of Raspberry Pi.
On the back of the JDUO 4CR, it is easy to configure a Raspberry Pi cluster computer because it is easy to withdraw power and USB connection wires.
Structure
The JDUO 4CR is fixed when two slide panels are inserted into the frame and the magnet installed on the back of the frame comes into contact with the slide panel.
The slide panel is intended to facilitate the process required when connecting external devices such as monitors or replacing broken boards during the initial setting of the Raspberry Pi.
Two Raspberry Pis can be installed on one slide panel.
The space used by JDUO 4CR is so large that it is not too much to install and use cooling fan HAT for cooling or PoE HAT for easy power supply.
Cooling
JDUO 4CR is an open type case, so it is effective in heat dissipation, but it has a lot of space, so you can install and use 30mm, 35mm, and 40mm cooling fans.
It is recommended to use a PTFE washer to remove interference and prevent scratches when installing a cooling fan on the frame of the JDUO 4CR.
The package does not include a PTFE washer.
If the cooling fan is mounted on the frame without inserting the PTFE washer, interference will occur between the wings of the cooling fan and the frame, and the cooling fan will not operate.
The same is true when mounting a cooling fan on the slide panel.
If an interference prevention pad is installed, such as Noctua’s cooling fan, there is no need to use a PTFE washer to remove interference.
